1. General Manager Assistant (part-time volunteer position)
 
Location:
Ho Chi Minh City – Viet Nam
 
Job Description:
DFC-VN is growing and seeking a visionary, passionate individual to help lead the Viet Nam team. This individual is to assist DFC-VN General Manager in the overall operation of DFC-VN including guidance and directions to the local team to ensure a smooth and effective operation. This position has potential being promoted to General Manager for DFC-VN.  General Manager Assistant will report to both DFC-VN General Manager and President/CEO of Donate For Children, Inc.
 
The duties and responsibilities of General Manager Assistant are as follows:
  • Assist with proposals and recommendations for the development of DFC-VN short-term and long-term plans.
  • Assist with the proposals for annual and project/program budgets.
  • Actively developing charitable programs/projects benefiting unfortunate and disadvantaged children.
  • Proactively developing plans/strategies for fundraising initiatives.
  • Frequently updating/reporting DFC-VN related issues to DFC headquarters.
  • Generating project/program expenditure reports and activity reports.
  • Work with DFC-VN General Manager in conducting meetings with local DFC-VN officers to exchange information, collection of ideas, and/or discussion of potential departmental issues for improvements.
  • Supporting DFC-VN representatives in compliance with local laws and regulations, including the responsibility to generate periodically reports required by the local governmental agencies.
 
Requirements:
  • Passionate in volunteer work and charitable activities.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Good English speaking and writing skills
  • Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Some management and leadership experience is preferred.
  • Currently enrolled as a college student is preferred.
2.Volunteer Coordinating Manager (part-time volunteer position)
 
Location:
Ho Chi Minh City – Viet Nam
 
Job Description:
A Volunteer Coordinating Manager is needed to recruit, manage, and maintain DFC-VN volunteer base. Volunteer Coordinating Manager will directly report to DFC-VN General Manager.
 
The duties and responsibilities of Volunteer Coordinating Manager are as follows:
·         Developing plans and procedures for volunteer recruitment.
·         Building and maintaining DFC volunteer network targeting students in local colleges and universities.
·         Developing plans/strategies to train, motivate, and retain volunteers.
·         Cooperating with other DFC-VN officers to dispatch volunteers in fulfilling the requirements of programs/projects/events.
·         Developing plans/strategies to embrace DFC core values and to increase volunteers’ morale.
·         Maintaining and updating volunteers’ profiles.
·         Supporting DFC-VN in all charitable and fundraising activities
·         Work hours are flexible.
 
Requirements:
·         Ability to work with others
·         Communication and people skills
·         Team building skills
·         Computer skills
·         Any experience in HR and Management is a plus
 
3. Marketing Manager (part-time volunteer position)
 
Location:
Ho Chi Minh City – Viet Nam
 
Job Description:
The role of the Marketing Manager is to develop and execute DFC-VN marketing plans/strategies in order to generate charitable funds and position DFC images. Marketing Manager is to report directly to DFC-VN General Manager. Working hours are flexible and there are high potentials to earn compensations for successful strategies/implementations.
 
Marketing Manger’s duties and responsibilities are as follows:
·         Proposing marketing campaigns to position DFC-VN images.
·         Developing strategic plans targeting public enterprises to generate charitable funds locally.
·         Training, managing, and supervising the team members for fundraising.
·         Working closely with other departments, especially with Public Relations to position DFC-VN images in building relationships with organizations, companies, and potential donors.
 
Requirements:
·         Creative thinking
·         Ability to work independently
·         Computer skills
·         Excellent communication and presentation skills.
·         Marketing management experience is a plus.
 
4. Public Relations Manager (part-time volunteer position)
 
Location:
Ho Chi Minh City – Viet Nam
 
Job Description:
A Public Relations (PR) Manager is needed to build, manage, and maintain DFC images and reputation into public.  The PR Manager is to report directly to DFC-VN General Manager. He/she will also work closely with Marketing Manager to develop and implement strategies in establishing long-term relationships with public/companies/donors/sponsors and helping to generate charitable funds. Working hours are flexible and there are high potentials to earn compensation for successful strategies/implementations.
 
PR Manager’s duties and responsibilities are as follows:
  • Planning, developing, and implementing strategic PR programs.
  • Researching and negotiating for opportunities to use communication media (e.g. newspapers, television, etc.) to effectively relate and promote DFC information into public.
  • Providing PR support for fundraisers
  • Working closely with Marketing Manager in generating charitable funds locally.
  • Researching for high-potential public enterprises and developing strategies in building relationships with these companies for potential sponsorships and donations.

  • Any experience in People Management, Public Relations, and/or media networking is a plus.
5. Communications Manager (part-time volunteer position)
 
Location:
Ho Chi Minh City – Viet Nam
 
Job Description:
The role of the Communications Manager is to create, implement, and oversee technologies and/or communications applications that effectively describe and promote DFC information/images. Communications Manager reports directly to DFC-VN General Manager.
 
Communications Manager’s duties and responsibilities are as follows:
·         Developing, implementing, and maintaining DFC-VN website.
·         Managing and maintaining DFC-VN email database.
·         Leveraging third-party networking technologies to promote DFC images (e.g. making use of YouTube, FaceBook, etc.)
·         Recruiting, training, and supervising team members to effectively collect, edit, and present information from activities of DFC-VN.
·         Technically supporting other departments, especially Marketing and Public Relations to position and promote DFC-VN images.
 
Requirements:
·         Teamwork oriented is a must.
·         Strong computer and web programming skills
·         Good communication and presentation skills
·         Excellent writing skills in both Vietnamese and English
·         Photography and video production experience is a plus.

6. Education Program Manager (part-time volunteer position)
 
Location:
Ho Chi Minh City – Viet Nam
 
Job Description:
Education Program Manager creates, implements, and oversees educational and/or vocational programs with the objective to teach and train the disadvantaged children the needed education and/or skills to improve the self-functional ability in the society. Education Program Manager and his/her team will have the opportunities to directly interface and assist the children via educational and/or training programs such as English teaching programs, computer-related training programs, etc. Education Program Manager reports directly to the DFC-US officer who is in charge of DFC educational programs but also dotted-line report to DFC-VN General Manager. Though Education Program Manager and the members of this team dedicate their services voluntary, some allowances are granted, including reimbursements for teaching materials and transportation expenses.
 
 
Education Program Manager’s duties and responsibilities are as follows:
·         Developing, implementing, and maintaining DFC-VN educational and vocational programs benefiting unfortunate and disadvantaged children.
·         Recruiting, training, and supervising team members to be efficient teachers/trainers.
·         Researching and collecting economical but effective teaching/training materials to be used in classrooms.
·         Dispatching/assigning volunteer teachers/trainers to appropriate programs.
·         Managing, monitoring, and adjusting education programs to achieve best results.
·         Frequently updating/reporting programs’ progress to the central education team to obtain feedback for improvement.
 
Requirements:
·         Passionate in teaching and helping children
·         Teamwork oriented is a must.
·         Good communication and presentation skills
·         Good writing and speaking skills in both Vietnamese and English
·         Teaching/training experience is a plus.
